THE SCHOONER WALRUS ASHORE. -- Captain Hunt, of the propeller NILE, reports the schooner WALRUS on the reef off Point Waugeshance. The latter had a cargo of 120 tons railroad iron from Buffalo, and 2,000 barrels salt from Saginaw, for this port. The WALRUS was formerly owned here, but was recently sold to parties in Detroit. --- Mil. Sentinel, 28th.
