The steamer AURANIA, is reported ashore at Point Iroquois and the CHARLES BEATTY is ashore near Round Island. Tugs are assisting them.

Converted to bulk propeller in 1899.
      Sprunk leak and sank in Whitefish Bay, lake Superior, April 29, 1909, while smashing ice.
