KILDONAN, barge of 10 years of age and 499 tons Reg. Port of Hail, Montreal. Bound from Kingston Ont. to Charlotte and again to Kingston. Stranded by being blown ashore near Nicholsons island, Lake Ontario, Oct. 22, I898. She was a partial loss, damage $2,000

NOTE :-- The KILDONAN and HECTOR both barges in tow of the tug JAMES A. WALKER, which foundered off Nicholson's Islandn the barges being blown ashore. Both were recovered, as was the tug at a later date.
