The schr. COLUMBIAN, laden with oil from Buffalo en route to Chicago, arrived here yesterday morning in a disabled condition. While being taken in tow on Monday, some 5 miles below the lightship she fouled with the schr. SMITH & POST, also upward bound, losing her bowsprit and headgear, besides serious damage to her bows. - Detroit Free Press
