CANVAS CARRIED AWAY. -- The Chicago Press and Tribune of Friday evening says: "The schooner GREY EAGLE, which arrived in port today, had considerable of her canvas carried away, while coming up through Lake Huron in the gale of last week. On her downward trip she went ashore on the Flats, and was ashore three days before she was got off, with the loss of 100 bushels of wheat, with which she was loaded, and an expense of $240 for getting her off, and what was worse, wheat declined six cents in the three days lost."
