COLLISION ON St. CLAIR FLATS. -- A collision occurred on Saturday evening last with the schooners INTERNATIONAL and JESSE, the latter a Canadian vessel. Both vessels were being towed by the tug SPRAGUE, bound down, and while passing over the Flats the former grounded, when the latter came in contact with her cutting her boat in two, also her taffrail and stern down to the water's edge. The JESSE lost her jibboom and some of her headgear. The repairs to the INTERNATIONAL will cost $250 or perhaps more.
