St. Joseph, June 11 - While approaching this port on the run across from Chicago early this morning, the steering gear of the passenger stmr. CITY OF BENTON HARBOR became disabled, rendering her helpless two miles from shore. Distress signals soon brought the tug BONITA to the rescue and the steamer was towed into the harbor.
