The small steamer PERIWINKLE stranded on Horseshoe Reef near Buffalo Saturday night and is likely to prove a total loss. She is valued at $15,000.

      The PERIWINKLE Afloat Again.
The steamer PERIWINKLE, which ran on Horse-shoe Reef Saturday night, was pulled off by several tugs this morning. She floated easily and was apparently uninjured. She was run into the Union Dry-dock and thoroughly examined. Her morning trip was not made.
