A small vessel named the ALZORA, loaded with wheat, bound from Port Rowan to Thorold, was jammed in the lock at Port Colborne Monday morning by a propeller, causing her to leak so much that she sank in the canal about two miles below here. The cargo was consigned to Howland & Sparks of Thorold.
