Sturgeon Bay, Oct. 20. -- The schooner J. E. GILMORE was driven ashore yesterday morning at Garrett's Bay, near Death's Door. The vessel will prove a total loss. The work of stripping her is already begun and the wreck will be abandoned. The GILMORE was built in 1867, rated B 1, and had a Lloyd;s valuation of $3,500. She was owned by John Gerlach of Cleveland.
