Description
Full Text

The catamaran GIROFIE GIROFIA, en route from Pultneyville to Oswego, in charge of Augustus A. Kimball, son of Captain Joseph Kimball, of Oswego, was found off Sodus Point on Friday morning in a waterlogged condition and towed into the harbor. Kimball is supposed to have drowned in endeavoring to swim ashore, as his clothing was found lashed to the spar of the craft. He was a young man about 26 or 27 years of age, a sailor by occupation, and married. He was also a member of the Oswego Life-saving crew, and a good swimmer.
