Emma L. Coyne (Schooner), gale damage, 8 Oct 1878

Description
Full Text

The dispatches announcing the cripplement of the schooner EMMA L. COYNE should have been dated Kalamazoo instead of Allegan, the latter place is twenty-five miles in the interior, and not on the lake coast at all. The COYNE lost all her canvas. Hull and cargo (corn) are insured. Assistance has been sent to her.
