The work of raising the sunken steamer LACKAWANNA at Port Huron was begun yesterday.

The steamer LACKAWANNA which was sunk by collision a short time ago is at Detroit unloading her cargo of flour. She will be brought to Buffalo for repairs.

Marine Notes. -- The steamer LACKAWANNA, owned by the Mutual Transit Company, which had been undergoing repairs here, sailed last night for Cleveland. She was run down and sunk in the St. Clair River by the steamer CHIEFTAIN early in the fall.
