STEAMER ROME BURNED.
Sault Ste. Marie, Mich., Nov. 18. -- The steamer ROME, a wooden vessel, owned by J. W. Norcross of Toronto, was burned to the water's edge yesterday lying at a dock in the St. Marys River about 20 miles below the Soo. The origin of the fire is not known.
