Alpena, Mich., December 2. -- The schooner ANN MARIE, coal-laden from Cleveland to Milwaukee, is ashore on Middle Island Reef. The tug JOHN OWEN has gone to the assistance of the stranded vessel, whose condition is not yet knon here. The ANN MARIE is owned by George R. Eastman and has been delivering coal at Port Washington during the season.
