Description
Full Text

PORT STANLEY, Sept. 20.. -- The scow SUTLER GIRL, in trying to enter the harbour, about 3 a. m. missed the piers, and let go her anchors, but drifted into shallow water, where she pounded badly for about four hours until the tug COLIN MUNRO went to her assistance and brought her in. She is leaking badly.
The schooner PRINCE EDWARD caught her main sheet on the spring piles at the end of the piers and carried away, doing considerable damage and smashing her yawl boat to pieces..
