Good Harbor, Mich., November 7. -- The schooner STAFFORD, which was endeavoring to ride out the gale in Good Harbor Bay, parted her anchor chains at 3 o'clock this morning and was driven ashore. The life-boat was carried away by the seas, and all of the crew except the cook are still on board. The cook jumped overboard and swam ashore. The wrecked vessel has a cargo of potatoes, and may be a total loss.
The STAFFORD registers 100 gross tons, was built 32 years ago in Tonawanda, rates A 2½ is uninsured and is owned by Otto Olsen, is valued at about $3,000
