The steamer VANDERBILT ran down and sunk the steamer MARK HOPKINS in Mud Lake, near the Soo today. The crew is safe.

RAISED AT LAST.
Detour, Mich., July 14. -- The steamer MARK HOPKINS, which was sunk in Mud lake on September 23 last by collision with the steamer VANDERBILT, has at last been raised. She passed down this morning at 3 o'clock in tow of the tug BROCKWAY. The HOPKINS had a cargo of corn, most of which had to be thrown overboard.
