Full Text

A telegram from Muskegon informs us of a serious collision which occurred off that port on the 9th. between the scow MONITOR and the schooner WAYNE. The MONITOR ran into the WAYNE, and damaged her so badly that she immediately began to fill with water, and it became necessary to head her for shore, which she reached in a sinking condition. The scow was bound for the east shore port.
