Lorain, Oct. 6. -- The schooner COLUMBIA is reported ashore five miles east of the harbor, having been driven on the beach tonight by a sudden gale springing up from the northwest. The COLUMBIA and FRANZ SIGEL were in company, both being laden with stone. The SIGEL made for this harbor, but the COLUMBIA continued on her way. The SIGEL struck the pier coming in and lost all her headgear.
