Reindeer (Schooner), aground, 1 Oct 1870

The steamer MAGNET has returned from Pinnebod where she went to assist the schooner REINDEER ashore there. It was found impossible to pull the vessel off, as she was completely imbedded in the sand. She was stripped of her sails, rigging, etc, which were brought down on the MAGNET.
