Steam screw WESTFORD. U. S. No. 80068. Of 302 tons gross;223 tons net. Built Trenton, Mich, 1869. Home port, Cleveland, Ohio. 134.0 x 25.8 x 11.6 Crew of 12. Freight service.
Merchant Vessel List, U. S., 1902
NOTE:- The propeller WESTFORD had been is not listed after 1903 in the Merchant Vessel List, U. S. Apparently in spite of the Buffalo Evening News articles, the WESTFORD is given by another source as being wrecked in Georgian Bay, North Channel and not in Green Bay. Newspapers being what they are this is quite likely, but I have no other information ??
