Schooner ARIEL, of Owen Sound, 44 tons, and valued at $1,500. While bound from Thornbury to Collingwood, stranded in Georgian Bay November 12,1870., (bad look out) with damage to hull placed at $1,500 and damage to cargo placed at $700. No lives were lost.
