St. Joseph, December 9. -- The steamer MARY, owned by the G & M. Co. was destroyed by fire at 3 a.m. today, near the company offices at Benton Harbor. Her value was 25,000 , nearly covered by insurance.

The steamer MARY was sold on Thursday afternoon to the Graham and Norton Co. of Chicago for $15,000 cash. The boat left for Benton Harbor last night, where she will ply between there and Chicago.

St. Joseph, May 6. The steamer MARY was launched this afternoon. She was purchased last fall by the G. & M. Co.,and burned at her dock here two weeks later. She has been completely rebuilt and will go on the Chicago run about July 1.
