Marquette Mich. July 14 The Propellor SMITH MOORE of Cleveland, laden with iron ore, collided with the propellor JAMES P. PICKANDS, of the same line in a heavy fog when 10 miles off Grand Island yesterday morning, and was badly disabled . A steambarge attempted to get her into shallow water inside Munsing Harbor. Three hundred feet from the mouth of the harbor the MOORE began to sink and the steambarge took off the crew. The propellor went down in a few minutes. She lies in 70 feet of water. Both boats were blowing fog signals, but were too close to avoid a collision when they saw each other.
