The barge VICTOR, lumber laden, went ashore near Rock Falls but the crew were rescued by the Sand Beach life-saving station. The schooner EUGENE, TRADER and JOSEPHINE are ashore but the crew are safe.

The PEASE is being raised by the Underwriters. She is badly hogged amidships and rests upon a large boulder. her consort, the VICTOR, ashore at Rock Falls, is being dismantled. She is split open from stem to stern and is a total loss.
