Toronto, Ont., Aug. 31 -- Captain Jackman's tug, the GOLDEN CITY, while lying at this harbor, was damaged by fire, this morning to the extent of $1,000. The cook who was in her berth at the time, was only saved by the exertions of the firemen, who rescued her with nothing on her but her night-dress.
