Port Huron, Mich. Oct. 19. - The schooner F.B. GARDNER was run into last night by the schooner REPUBLIC while she was lying at anchor in St. Clair River. The REPUBLIC lost her jibboom head and stem. She is leaking some. The loss to the GARDNER consists of her forerigging, part of a sail, and four stanchions. It will cost $600 to repair both vessels.
