COLLISIONS. -- The past few days has been fraught with quite a number of disasters, some of them of serious import. We have already the present week made mention of some three or four, and as many more are at hand. The barque GREAT WEST while coming up in tow of the DART on Wednesday morning, a short distance down the river, by some means came in collision with the barque SONORA, which was in tow, bound down. The latter vessel had her jibboom, bowsprit and all her headgear carried away, but managed to reach Malden, where she is now repairing. The WEST, it is presumed, suffered no damage of consequence.
