A dispatch from Ottawa says that steps are being taken for the removal of the American schooner MARY AMELIA, sunk at the mouth of the Detroit River in the channel and abandoned on the 12 th. inst.

The scow MARY AMELIA which sank at the head of lake Erie and was an obstruction to navigation, has been towed around Bar Point, into shallow water, where she is no longer a danger to shipping.
