Many boats were wrecked in the storm of Saturday ; the schooner BARKALOW from Marine City foundered on Lake Erie a half mile from Put-in-Bay... 3 lost. The schooner GRACE E. GRIBBLE foundered off Point Pelee and three were lost. The scow MAYFLOWER foundered on her way from Mount Clemens to Algonac. The crew escaped but the vessel is a total loss.
