The old sidewheeler METROPOILIS was burned to the water's edge at Toledo on Friday.

A crew of divers yesterday morning raised the passenger steamer METROPOLIS, once the pride of the lakes, from the bottom of the river at Detroit [?] where she has been all winter. Her hul will be used as a scow to carry stone.
