It is learned at Detroit that the propeller JAMES H. HOYT of the Provident Line was in collision with the propeller SAHARA of the Tomlison Fleet in the St. Clair Flats Canal last Sunday afternoon, both boats having been damaged above the water line. The forward decks of both boats were buckled by the impact, The HOYT"s upper works were slightly crushed.
