Gas screw J.H. STEVENS. U. S. No. 12787. Of 94 tons gross. Built 1866. On June 10, 1927, vessel burned at Presque Isle, Mich. With 5 persons on board, no lives were lost.

J.H. STEVENS, built 1859 at Milan as two masted schooner, rebuilt Detroit 1866 and again at Sheboygan in 1872 as gas screw, rebuilt again in 1891. Burned at Presque Isle, off Rogers City June 10, 1927.
