Steam screw BURLINGTON. U. S. No. 92769. Of 2,029 tons gross. Built 1897. On December 6, 1936, vessel stranded 200 feet off breakwall at Holland, Mich., with 24 persons on board. No lives were lost.

NOTE:- The number for MINNEAPOLIS is given from 1897 to 1911 as 92769. She re-appears as BURLINGTON in 1925 with the numberas 93769 this number is repeated in 1927, 1928 and back again to the correct number of 92769 in 1931. The error made in 1925 was carried forward in my 1927 and 28 merchant vessel Lists.
