MINNIE, schooner of 98 tons register, belonsing to the port of Port Colborne and bound from Napanee to Charlotte, stranded in a gale by loss of canvas one mile east of Salt Point, Lake Ontario on Nov.2, I877. She was then 11 years old and was considered a total loss, her amount of loss was put at $2,000 on her hull and a $600 loss on her cargo.
