The special feature of the ship is the propelling machinery, .tin's consisting of two 700 I!.H.P. diesel engines, turning 400 R.P.M, and working through reduction gearing and electric-magnetic slip couiplu?s lo a single shaft and propeller, the latter turning 145 R.P.M.
