ft Hamilton Spectator, Wednesday, Feb. 8, 1967 'l9 Ice Jam Eases, Vessels Reach Port MONTREAL (CP) - The transport department signal service reported yesterday that nine vessels, forced to tie up Monday at Sorel, Que., because of an ice jam on the St. Lawrence River, have arrived in Montreal. The signal service and the harbor master's office here reported that the Scotia, a Cunard freighter, moved upriver from Sorel yesterday and the other vessels followed her later in the day. The Scotia arrived here shortly before noon while the other vessels started docking in the afternoon. The other vessels to arrive were the J. Edouard Simard, Manchester Port, Remja Dan, Manja Dan, C.
