Capt. J. G. Kiah, superintendent of the tenth district life-saving service, states that the lake has been encroaching on the house at Crisp station, situated above Whitefish Point, on Lake Superior. He will have the building moved back from the water, where there will be less danger of having it washed away some stormy day.
