THE WASP DISMASTED. The large sloop yacht Wasp, owned by Captain John Prindiville, went out on the lake yesterday for a cruise. The wind was fresh from the west Captain James Jackson was sailing her, and Captain Prindiville and a party of fourteen Board of Trade gentlemen were on board as passengers. They started out for a good time, and had it. The luncheon was most enjoyable. On the return to the city, and when about off Lincoln Park under full canvas, the tall, beautiful mast went out of her. THE CITY OF ST. JOSEPH IN PORT.- The new propelller City of St. Joseph, of Graham & Morton's iline, arrived in Chicago yesterday on her maioQen trip. She is of medium dimensions, and Sm a handy business boat. Her model is good, she is strongly built and well Jinished, and thoroughly equipped. Her steam power is good. She has full-length cabins, and is designed for the passenger and freight traffic. The City of St. Joseph, on the line between Chicago and St. Joseph and Benton Harbor, fills a want and will enjoy a large patronage. Graham A; Morton are fair toward their patrons, and have built up a name and fame that will prove lasting. The new craft is a credit to builders and owners like, and The Ixter Ocean wishes her a long and lucky career. The tug Brothers hit tine tug Prindiville in the harbor yesterday, cuttimg through her wearing piece and tearing away he;r rail for some distance. The two tugs mentioned and the tug Babcoek got into a snarl, all moving irapidly, and the Prindiville concluded to take tine blow rather than run into and sink the Babcoek iu endeavoring to avoid it. Detroit, Mich., Jume 5.—The schooner City of Cleveland, in tow of the steamer Ranney, bound up, collided with the schooner George M. Case, bound] down, in tow of the tug Sweepstakes, damiaging the Case about S300 in the front rigyring, 'the monkey rail forward, and split the Sore sail. The schooner Goldciu Fleece, bound down in tow of the Mocking Bird, collided with a barge in tow of the steamer Belle Cross, carrying away the Golden Fleece's jibboom and gear. The steamship Johu B.
