Launch - Mr. Shickluna, of St.Catharines, launched a fine propeller on Wednesday last. She is named the "America" , and is the fifth propeller built by Mr. S.. Her dimensions are: length 145 feet overall; 26 feet beam; 12 feet hold; and 400 tons burden, carpenters measure.. They cylinder, 30 by 31, and her horsepower, 240. The engine and boiler were built by Mr. G. N. Oille, of St.Catharines, the first being designed by Mr. Dean of the Welland Railway. She is owned and built for Messrs. Norris & Neelon, of St.Catharines and will be commanded by Capt. Parrot.
