The Franquilin, a Canadian freighter, loaded 3,200 tons of coal Thursday for Montreal at the Erie-Lackawanna coal terminal.

The next day the largest coal freighter to put into port, the Stadacona, took on a small load for Toronto. It will load the remainder of its cargo at Sodus, according to word received here today. The Stadacona is a 582-footer, and has been here twice in recent years for cargoes. The same day, or the next, the Valley Camp will dock to load 3,600 tons for Toronto while on Sunday the Red Cloud is due to load 3,000 tons for Cornwall.

Montreal hard coal cargo, some 3,500 tons, is expected to be loaded on Aug. 16. Her ship has not been designated.
