Steamboat Combination

We learn from good authority, that the arrangement for a combination of the steamer interest on the lakes, which has for some time been pending, is at length effected. We do not gather any particulars, further than that it includes all vessels propelled by steam, but the Michigan Central Rail-Road Co. boats. That company however, bind themselves not to carry passengers through, at a less fare than ten dollars each. The combination is to go into effect immediately. Chicago Journal
