ACCIDENT.-- We understand that a durham boat, engaged in the forwarding business of Messrs. Hooker & Henderson, of Prescott, on her way to Montreal last week, about 20 miles below this place, run against a pier built in the river near the Canada shore, and sunk. The boat was laden with about 200 barrels of Ashes, which it is supposed will be principally lost.
