Description
Full Text

Around the Chain of Lakes. After the lighthouse on Middle Island had been in darkness for two nights an investigation was made and the dead body of the keeper, Collin Lawson, found in his bed at the station. Death was due to heart disease. That boats were not wrecked by the failure of the light is deemed remarkable, as hundreds of vessels pass that point every night.
