Around the Chain of Lakes. The Starke dredging company of Milwaukee has let the contract for the construction of the largest steel dipper dredge ever built on the Great Lakes. It will be 125 feet long and 43 feet beam. The dredge will be built at Buffalo and is to be equipped with all the latest mechanical appliances. It is expected she will be ready for launching in September.
