Around the Great Lakes. Incorporation of the McReynolds Elevator Co. of Chicago, with a capital stock of $300,000 is taken as a confirmation of the rumor that the recent purchase by McReynolds of the tract of land on the east side of the Calumet river at 106th street was with a project for the construction of an elevator in view. Additional color is perhaps given to the story by the fact that money has been appropriated to dredge the river beyond 106th street.
