On Friday last Capt. Alex. McDougall formally turned over to the American Ship Building Co. (consolidated lake ship yards) the affairs of the American Steel Barge Co. at West Superior. From now on he will give active attention to a vessel agency business at Duluth, which he formerly carried on successfully for ten years before bringing about the organization of the American Steel Barge Co. The vessel agency will be known as Alex. McDougall & Co. Mr. W. A. Thompson, Jr., is associated with Capt. McDougall in this work.
