Enlargement of the dry dock of the Chicago Ship Building Co. at South Chicago is under way. The enlarged dock will measure 510 feet on keel blocks, 530 feet over all, 70 feet width at gate and 100 feet width at top. Draught of water over sill will be 16 feet at all times.
