The tug Smith delivered a cargo of crushed stone on the barge Adriatic at Green Bay during the week.
The steamer Edward Buckley passed thru here Sunday bound south, having brought a cargo of cement to Green Bay.
Peshtigo reef lightship was brought to the Universal yard Tuesday by the steamer Hyacinth for the purpose of being docked. The relief lightship is at the Peshtigo reef station at present.

The carrier Wyandotte due here last Saturday with a cargo of coal, is laid up for repairs at Detroit, having a broken down engine since last Thursday. The Wyandotte is expected here as soon as repairs are made but in the meantime the city is just about out of coal again. Two carloads of coal received Tuesday will just about last thru today.
The steamer Otto M. Reiss arrived at Green Bay Saturday with a cargo of coal consigned to the C. Reiss Coal company. This is the first trip of the Otto M. Reiss to Green Bay this season. The movement of coal thru Green Bay is assuming huge proportions, nearly 25,000 tons passing thru the city last week. The Otto M. Reiss cleared for the north Sunday morning.

The tug E. M. B. A. of Sheboygan will engage in the general freight business on Lake Michigan. The E.M.B.A. was a fishing boat but on account of the demand for water transportation fishing has been abandoned to handle freight.
In a heavy fog Tuesday morning the steamer Houghton of the Pittsburg Steamship company fleet ran ashore on Bruce island, Straits of Mackinac. Tugs and wrecking outfit left Detour to relese [sic: release] it. The lighter Reliance was ordered form the Soo to assist. Fog prevailed from Whitefish Point to Lake Huron.
